We apologize for the delay on this last recording — we’ll blame finals madness for this one! For those of you who missed it, May 25th was our final show. As a way to say farewell, we decided to read our own work. Colin Harris read his essay “Monty Hall” and Marcy Farrey read her essay “Meaningless Writing.” Listen here: DePaulSWSShow10
Next fall, the DePaul Student Writers Series will have new hosts and will begin airing new episodes. We will still try to update this blog in the summer with some new content.
Congratulations to co-host Colin Harris, who graduated this past Sunday with his Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing! Marcy Farrey will graduate in August. You can follow her other projects at www.marcyfarrey.com. This summer she will be working on an independent press anthology and a short documentary on local independent presses, and you can follow her progress there.
A big thanks to everyone who read on our show this past winter and spring quarter! We had a great time and heard a lot of great work! Have a great summer!
