This special edition of our show was recorded last Friday, April 20th when DePaul University welcomed five University of Alabama poets to campus. The group is part of an exciting exchange program between DePaul and the University of Alabama. Four DePaul poets also shared with us their experience in Alabama in February. We were happy to have them on the show and hear all about the writing community they have formed.

The students from the University of Alabama are interns with Slash Pine Press, which makes unique, limited-run chapbooks. DePaul students also had a chance to get involved when they visited campus. Check out the press at www.slashpinepress.com.
